Hello, MillenniuM Fans!
MillenniuM Group Win 95 Boot Screen
System requirements: Windows 95, a PC that runs Windows 95, electricity
Description: This boot graphic replaces the standard Microsoft Windows 95 boot screen with a graphic that looks like the one shown above (only larger). That's all it does. If you want more than that, do it yourself :o)>
Disclaimer: If you read carefully, nothing bad can happen. Otherwise, you're on your own, pal. (The MillenniuM logo is Copyright by Fox, I suppose, so don't sell it to anybody, etc.) The whole world failed to cease to exist on 1/1/2000, but you can still pick up your MillenniuM logo for the next one, eh?
The file download: 2000logo.sys
Text file repeating installation instructions shown below: install.txt
|
To install: Find the file logo.sys in your root directory - this is usually the C:\ drive. (Be careful not to confuse this with any other .sys file!). Right-click on logo.sys. Choose Properties from the pop-up menu that appears. In the properties box, make sure that Read Only and Hidden are not checked. Click the OK button in the Properties box. If you want to be extra careful, make a copy of this file to another directory of your choice. In your root directory, right-click again on logo.sys. Choose Rename. The file name will become highlighted. Change the name of logo.sys to oldlogo.sys and press enter once. If you want to go back to your original Win 95 boot screen later, you can rename this file back to logo.sys to restore it. Move the 2000logo.sys file that you downloaded from this page to your root directory. Right-click on 2000logo.sys and choose Rename. Rename 2000logo.sys to logo.sys and reboot your system. If all goes well, you will see the MillenniuM Group logo whenever you boot up until the end of the world as we know it (which is 56 years away, according to a certain infamous MillenniuM splinter group.) |

BTW, Fox officially cancelled MillenniuM in May, 1999. Various cast members moved on to CCs Harsh Realm, which was also cancelled! The MillenniuM: Season One DVD set is finally a reality, however, complete with a very keen website at Fox Home Entertainment - MillenniuM DVDs
